Let this be your reminder too. But first, let me talk about my 3 year off and on hiatus… (LONG CAPTION)

At one point the life I was working for started becoming so real that it felt unreal. Growth has a funny way of stretching you beyond what feels familiar. That kind of alignment can feel just as uncomfortable as the struggle. I was stepping into the very things I once prayed for but I was also in between blessings. Somewhere in that process, I had to get back to me.

I created this video last year as a reminder of where I started 5 years ago. Pieces from my journey as a fashion content creator, the creativity that built my confidence, and the passion that never left.

During my social media hiatus, I met so many people who hesitate to show up online and I get it..

There’s fear in being seen.
Fear in being misunderstood.
Fear of appearing performative.
The desire to protect your privacy.
The discomfort in the unknown behind the systems that constantly analyze and interpret what we share.

All those concerns are too real.

But what I learned is that choosing not to show up says something too.

Silence communicates.
Absence can create assumptions.
And holding back your voice can shape your reality just as much as using it.

That changed the way I saw visibility.

Because if showing up online means something, then so does being absent.

And sometimes, the cost of not being seen is greater than the vulnerability of being seen.

That’s what this season taught me:
The power in being intentional,
power in owning your story,
and power in deciding that your voice deserves to take up space.

So I’m back. Not just as a creator, but as a creative marketer helping fashionable beauty brands build presence, tell stronger stories, and show up with intention.

The pause was part of the process.
The growth was necessary.
Now I’m popping out with alignment, clarity, and confidence.

So yeah, my reminder, your reminder & OUR pop out season. 💕

It’s been a long time fr and here’s the truth…

I created this video last year. I even did a photo shoot in the outfit. But I didn’t feel ready to post. Instead, I waited.… for the perfect time, the perfect words to say, the perfect opportunity. None of it ever came. I was drained. I was pouring out when I needed to pour in, but now my glass is half full again.

So here’s to trying again. ❤️

Last month I had the opportunity to attend my first @investfestival . I skipped the itinerary, overindulged in the vendor marketplace, bookmarked some memorable moments, and still walked away with so many gems. (Pro tip: to walk away comfortably don’t wear heels. 🥲) From AI to real estate, wealth building to creativity, this conference had so much to value to gain from. It’s not just a conference for entrepreneurs though. This is for the whole community. Andddd I heard the tickets for next year are on sale. 👀 Sooo RVA, are going together next year?
