It was such a great opportunity to network with local beauty professionals in RVA. This wasn’t just a braid appointment this was a self care appointment. A lot of times self care doesn’t always look pretty, or feel good. It should start on the inside and work its way out. Because self care isn’t vanity it’s sanity. So it doesn’t always look “instagrammable”. How you look after getting a fresh set of braids might be though.
